This is in partnership with Jaguar Land Rover and the Manufacturing Institute (MI); delegates will take part in an educational tour around the factory that takes them from the initial process of stamping the panels, through body construction and final assembly. They will also benefit from a workshop about LEAN manufacturing led by the production manager and by a consultant from MI. Finally, delegates will take part in the Land Rover experience at Halewood’s track facility where they will get a demonstration drive in the vehicles.

They are providing transport; food and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. If delegates want to use their transport, the coach will pick up from The Depository car park on Percliffe Way (off Philips Road) at 9.30am and arrive back from Halewood at 5.00pm.
The day starts at 11.00am with a workshop on LEAN manufacturing followed by lunch. The afternoon session involves a tour of the factory in the company of Jaguar Land Rovers production manager as well as a test demonstartion of their vehicles.
